Mod Post: Just an update.

Hey all.

Just a few quick things:

• I changed the layout and hopefully it’s a bit more organized/readable. If the coloring is weird for anyone, please let me know!
• I also added a “tags” page, which finally divides posts into analysis, asks, mod posts, quick hits, reblogs, thanks cosmo, and trolls (which I thankfully haven’t had to use yet). 
• I hope to do more quick hit posts in the future, which essentially just takes a quote or paragraph and lays it out there so we can all stare at it and go REALLY COSMO? REALLY? I mostly did them when I started the blog, but they dropped off as I became more interested in long analysis/satire. Short posts, though, would ideally increase post frequency (yaaaay!) but as always, I make no promises. ;) 
• My ask box is open for people who want to submit anything, suggest I look at something, or ask anything. I don’t bite and I have cute gifs.

And lastly (and most importantly?):

• I’m working on a project analyzing the magazine covers of Cosmo: who they choose to be on the cover each month, who they DON’T put on their magazine, what kind of wording they use in their headlines, etc. Hopefully this is something people will be interested in? If not, well… I’m interested in it, so maybe my excitement will make everyone be like OMG, RAD, SO MESMERIZING. Maybe not. We shall see. I don’t know when it’ll be done, since I just started, so I’m probably jumping the gun in announcing this, but oh well!

I hope everyone had a lovely holiday and their new year is off to a great start! As for me, I’m still in shock that Dakota Fanning is old enough to be on this month’s cover of Cosmo. SERIOUSLY? I STILL FEEL LIKE SHE’S 8.
